14th U.S.-Asia Entertainment Summit and Game Changer Awards
VIEW EVENT DETAILSThe 14th annual U.S-Asia Entertainment Summit and Game Changer Awards is the most prestigious gathering of dealmakers, thought leaders, and content creators in the U.S. and Asian entertainment industries. This signature Asia Society Southern California (ASSC) event covers the trends and forces transforming entertainment such as film, television, digital streaming and content, music, and gaming that drive culture forward all across Asia and the U.S.
We are pleased to announce our first confirmed honoree Max's Warrior . Based on the writings of the legendary Bruce Lee, the TV series masterfully puts forth the legacy of 20th century's iconic martial artist and actor in front of today's audience. Moreover, it confronts racism against the AAPI communities – a reality which sadly continues today. The drama is set during the ruthless Tong Wars of San Francisco’s Chinatown in the late 19th century starring actors Olivia Cheng, Dianne Doan, Andrew Koji, and Jason Tobin and produced by founder and chairperson of the Bruce Lee Foundation and his daughter Shannon Lee. Executive Vice President of Marketing at HBO and Max Originals Pia Chaozon Barlow will be presenting the cast and crew of Warrior with their Asia Entertainment Game Changer award.
More programming and honorees to be announced soon.
