Book Salon
In the Asia Society Switzerland Book Salon, we open a direct window into Asian lives. Histories, discourses, and cultures make up the textures of novels. Together we read and discuss fiction from or about Asia in an informal setting to intentionally change our perspectives as a practice in curiosity, openness, and empathy. We meet four times a year – in person in Zurich, if possible.

If you have any interesting reading recommendations, also non-fiction, please let us know and send us the book details along with a few lines about it to switzerland@asiasociety.org. Twice a year we put together a list of 10 books – you can find all previous reading lists on the right-hand column (desktop) or at the bottom of the screen (mobile).
