Policy & Business Research Intern 2023
General Description
Asia Society Korea's Policy & Business Research Intern works closely with the Executive Director and Program Coordinator in ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of events and programs.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
- Researches or contributes to drafts of reports, memos, program updates, work plans, and web /newsletter articles as required;
- Assists in managing various social media networks
- Under supervision and direction, researches or contributes to social media updates as required.
- Monitors political and cultural developments throughout the country to keep the team informed.
- Drafts program-related materials as requested.
- Translates English-Korean/Korean-English documents as needed;
- Supports various activities and events
- Performs other administrative duties as assigned.(e.g, picking up mail, etc.)
Qualifications
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, work independently, and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a productive team with tight timelines.
- Strong written and verbal skills, as well as experience in delivering digital communication campaigns.
- Interest and/or professional experience in Asia, preferably with an understanding of Korea and international relations.
- Possess ability to manage multiple tasks in a high stress environment and work independently.
- Eligible to work in South Korea; work visa preferred.
